Data Quality Engineer (Financial Specialist)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated data quality and observability monitors to ensure data integrity.
• Configure monitoring systems to track data freshness, volume, and schema changes.
• Investigate alerts and perform root cause analysis to resolve data quality issues.
• Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to address and prevent data issues.
• Apply observability techniques to AI and ML pipelines, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
• Manage and resolve data quality incidents efficiently using established workflows.
• Work with Data Governance and Business Data Stewards to align technical controls with standards.
  
  
  

Skills

• Minimum of 4 years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data quality roles.
• Proficient in SQL with experience handling large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with data observability platforms.
• Strong analytical skills for effective root cause analysis.
• Experience in regulated environments, particularly with financial data.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in supporting data quality for AI/ML or advanced analytics.
• Familiarity with data lineage and governance platforms.
