Communications Specialist V

Bring your communications expertise to a high-visibility role supporting internal messaging, brand consistency, and strategic communications across a complex organization. This position offers the opportunity to shape engagement initiatives, support brand transition efforts, and help deliver clear, timely, and compelling communications across multiple channels and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support internal communication strategies that align with organizational goals and brand direction.
• Create engaging content for company websites, blogs, videos, photography, memos, and other communication channels.
• Coordinate communication timing and messaging to support company events, initiatives, and leadership priorities.
• Partner with internal departments and management to deliver accurate and timely updates to employees and stakeholders.
• Help maintain consistency across communication materials, ensuring a unified voice and message.
• Support research-driven recommendations for messaging, campaigns, and communication plans.
• Track and present results from communication efforts and engagement activities.
• Assist with brand transition work, including asset updates, website content, sales enablement materials, and customer-facing presentations.
• Coordinate with legal and agency partners as needed on trademark, copyright, and other communication-related matters.
• Support trade show messaging, media relations materials, and thought leadership content.
  
  
  

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent training.
• 15 years of related professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting communication planning, messaging, or marketing initiatives.
• Knowledge of communication and media production methods and best practices.
• Ability to present information clearly and support organizational consistency.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Confidence working with internal partners, external vendors, and leadership teams.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting brand transition or multi-location rollout initiatives.
• Background in sales enablement, customer presentations, or trade show communications.
• Familiarity with media relations and thought leadership messaging.
• Experience coordinating with legal teams on trademark or copyright-related items.
• Project management experience, including meeting coordination and progress reporting.
