Seeking Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant
Horizon Veterinary Care is seeking an experienced LVT or Veterinary Assistant (minimum five years experience) to join our growing team.

- Hospital hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- No weekends – ever
- Daily hospital closure from 12:00pm - 1:00pm to ensure every team member receives an uninterrupted lunch break
This position is initially temporary, with the potential to transition into a long term position for the right candidate as our hospital continues to grow.
Primary Responsibilities
Performed under the direct supervision of a veterinarian and in accordance with Washington State regulations.
- Obtain accurate patient histories and maintain complete electronic medical records
- Admit and discharge patients while providing excellent client communication
- Fill prescriptions and manage medication refill requests
- Safely and compassionately restrain patients
- Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
- Obtain radiographs
- Perform laboratory procedures and operation of in-house equipment
- Assist with advanced dental procedures and oral surgery
- Monitor anesthesia
- Support veterinarians and teammates to ensure efficient patient care and exceptional client service
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
