What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Horizon Tool Inc?
Horizon Tool Inc. is seeking Warehouse Associates who will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders to the appropriate locations, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Essential Functions:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
- Pick and fill orders from stock.
- Pack and ship orders to customers and other locations.
- Maintain inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Communicate with supervisors and other team members to ensure inventory accuracy and timely deliveries.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Qualification Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in basic math and computer skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Education / Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM
