K-2 General Education Teacher (26-27 School Year)

About Us: Horizon Science Academy Primary School is a K–2 public charter school dedicated to providing a high-quality, engaging education for all students. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team of educators for the 26-27 school year. Responsibilities: Create and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies Integrate hands-on learning and STEM activities that support curiosity and critical thinking Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Use data to inform instruction and differentiate to meet students’ individual needs Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, behavior, and goals Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide professional development Uphold school policies, procedures, and the values of Horizon Science Academy Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required) Valid teaching license for early childhood or elementary education (or in progress) Strong classroom management skills and a student-centered mindset Passion for working with young learners and helping them thrive Willingness to grow, reflect, and contribute to a collaborative school culture Why Join Us?
