Horizon Rehabilitation Hospital of McKinney is an innovative, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered healthcare services to our community. As a new 26-bed, in-patient rehab hospital we are committed to setting new standards in patient care and rehabilitation. We value compassion, excellence, and teamwork, and we are looking for a compassionate, experienced Speech Language Pathologists to join our team.
Qualified candidates must be available to work at least TWO Sundays per month.
Responsibilities:
The Speech Language Pathologist must be a specialist in human communications, including normal development and deficits in communication. Work responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of physician referrals for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, or swallowing. The Speech Language Pathologist must work as a member of an interdisciplinary team with other professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications:What We Are Looking For:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication preferred.
- One to three years in a hospital setting.
- Current BLS certification required within three (3) months of hire.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for the clinical fellowship year.
- Ability to work weekends (at least 2 Sundays per month).
