Clinical Nurse Resource
Job Summary:
Horizon Post Acute is seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Resource to oversee the clinical operations for our skilled nursing facility in Wichita, KS. As a Clinical Nurse Resource, you will work collaboratively with clinical leadership teams, other resource services team members, and outside consulting firms to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Identify quality of care issues and take appropriate actions
- Educate facility staff in clinical and regulatory issues, as well as facility policies
- Provide guidance and assistance to Directors of Nursing.
- Admissions and admission eval completion
- Assist in writing, implementing, and following through on facility plans of correction
- Attend required meetings
- DME, pharmacy and GDR recommendations
- Care Plans
Requirements:
Valid RN license
Valid CPR certification
at least 1 year experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong clinical skills
Knowledge and ability to follow regulations, policies, and guidelines
Ability to provide performance that surpasses resident expectations and foster the highest degree of quality care
Strong communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and function effectively as a part of the team
