What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Technical Director position at Horizon Middle School East Campus?
Moorhead High School is hiring an Assistant Technical Director position to work within our Theater Department. This part-time position is a year-round assignment working an average of 20 hours per week. Extra time may be required leading up to and during performance weeks. Some nights and weekends will be mandatory.
Job Duties include:
- Preparation and Set up and Production of live Fine Art Concerts & Theatrical Events
- Assist the Technical Director with the High School and Middle School music concerts and theater productions
- Assist in the design of technical elements for main stage theater productions at the High School and Middle School to include set design, sound, and lights.
- Serve as lead for specific fine art activities on dates where events occur simultaneously in separate performance venues
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a similar technical theater setting.

Experience and use of other technical equipment.
