ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Insurance Producer with Horizon Insurance, you will help individuals, families, and businesses find insurance coverage that fits their needs while building a rewarding career in the insurance industry.
This is a sales and relationship-building position with a base salary, commissions, bonuses, paid training, and licensing support. You will work with both new and existing clients, provide insurance quotes, conduct coverage reviews, follow up with leads, and help clients find solutions across multiple insurance products.
You do not need years of insurance experience to succeed in this role. We provide training, coaching, licensing support, quoting technology, carrier access, and marketing support to help you learn the business and become successful.
You will have the opportunity to work with Auto, Home, Renters, Life, Commercial, Medicare, Health, and Employee Benefits, allowing you to serve more of your clients' insurance needs and build long-term relationships.
The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, competitive, coachable, and comfortable talking with people. Previous sales or insurance experience is helpful, but we are also interested in individuals with strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills who are willing to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance needs.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Follow up with leads, referrals, existing clients, and sales opportunities.
- Conduct insurance reviews and identify potential coverage needs.
- Provide accurate insurance quotes using agency quoting tools.
- Explain coverage options, pricing, and policy details in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
- Recommend appropriate insurance solutions based on each client's needs.
- Quote and sell products including Auto, Home, Renters, Life, Commercial, Medicare, Health, and Employee Benefits, as permitted by licensing and training.
- Complete applications and submit new business to insurance carriers.
- Follow up with clients throughout the sales and policy process.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base.
- Ask for referrals and develop new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer and policy information in agency systems.
- Work with agency team members and insurance carriers to ensure a smooth client experience.
- Participate in sales training, coaching, meetings, and professional development.
- Work toward individual and agency production goals.
Qualifications

Experience and licensing:
- Previous sales experience preferred, but not required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Previous insurance experience is a plus.
- Active Property & Casualty license preferred.
- Active Life & Health license preferred.
- Medicare certification is a plus but not required.
- Training and licensing support are available for the right candidate.
