This position is 4 PM to 12 AM Weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Additional shifts can be assigned, due to call-outs/shortages of staff coverage.Residential AideSupervisor: Operations ManagerJob Description: The Residential Aide is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of a clean, safe environment; monitoring and maintaining all required documentation and ensuring that the facilities comply with regulations.Responsibilities:Effectively oversee the daily operations of assigned site to provide a safe structured environment for residents and staff.Conduct fire drills as per direction and schedule.Assist in maintaining the facility in compliance with DSS and Township regulations, including maintaining a clean safe environment both inside and outside the facility.Advise the Senior Resident Aide of supplies, equipment, and services needed to address the needs of assigned site.Monitor and maintain an orderly facility during scheduled shift including room checks to ensure clients observe the rules.Prepare units for new clients.Document information during shift activities in the logs and advise the Senior Resident Aide and Case Manager as needed.Participate and successfully complete training, such as CPR, as required.Maintenance of site includes but not limited to unit inspections, cleaning of units and common areas, removal of unwanted items, painting, meal preparations, and laundry needs and safety checks.Answer phones and assist clients with daily needs.Attending on-site and off-site meetings training and/or workshops authorized by supervisor.The above is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.Qualifications:Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and two years working in a social services environment; familiarity with community resources and social service systems; strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication /organizational skills.
