Horizon Health in Howard, SD is seeking a Full Time Safety and Health Manager . The Safety and Health Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s OSHA and Emergency Preparedness Programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and oversee the organization’s OSHA Compliance Program to ensure alignment with federal, state and local guidelines. Responsible for planning, developing and coordinating the safety program for the organization.
- Conduct regular facility audits, inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with OSHA Standards and serve as the primary liaison during OSHA inspections and regulatory agency visits.
- Collaborate in the development and ongoing management of the organization’s Emergency Preparedness Program, ensuring emergency operations plans, systems and procedures remain current and effective.
- Coordinate and oversee the organization’s Incident Management program. Ensuring completion of proper follow up and trend identification.
