Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health
Location: Greene County, Ohio and surrounding areas
Employment Type: Part-Time | PRN

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate PTA to join our growing home health team. Working under the supervision of a PT, you will provide individualized therapy services that helps patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and safely regain independence in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities
- Provides physical therapy treatments according to the established plan of care under the direction of a licensed PT
- Assists patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training and mobility techniques
- Monitors patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising PT and care team
- Educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall preventions, and safe mobility techniques.
- Completes accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborates with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintains compliance with agency policies and state and federal home health regulations
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Current CPR and/or BLS certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Home health experience is preferred, but not required
