What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Quality Custodial Specialist position at HORIZON GOODWILL?
Job Summary
The Quality Control Custodial Specialist monitors and evaluates cleaning services at multiple locations to ensure compliance with company, client, and safety standards. This role conducts inspections, documents findings, and reports them to the Associate Director of Environmental Services. This position will also serve as a back-up to the Regional Custodial Manager(s).
Essential Functions
• Perform routine inspections of custodial work at assigned locations
• Evaluate cleanliness of offices, restrooms, hallways, or other parts of the facility
• Use quality-control checklists and inspection reports to document findings
• Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitations regulations
• Train and coach custodial staff on cleaning procedures and quality standards
• Communicate inspection results to Assoc. Dir. Of Env. Svec’s
• Track performance metrics and prepare quality assurance reports
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure issues are resolved
• Back up for when the Regional Custodial Manager(s) is out which includes administrative support, emergency response and operational oversight

Education/Experience
1. Minimum of one (1) year prior custodial/janitorial experience required
2. Must have a valid Driver’s License
3. Strong attention to detail
4. Ability to work independently and travel between locations
5. Walking, standing, bending throughout the day
6. Basic computer skills for reporting and recordkeeping
