Endoscopy Technician / Medical Assistant – Per Diem Float Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Endoscopy Technician/Medical Assistant to join our team as part of our per diem float pool. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience as an Endoscopy Technician along with solid Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
This role supports our providers in delivering high-quality patient care and requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare endoscopy suites and assist providers during procedures.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain scopes and endoscopy equipment according to established protocols.
- Handle, label, and process specimens accurately and promptly.
- Support patient flow by triaging patients prior to procedures, including history, vitals, and documentation.
- Perform phlebotomy and other MA clinical tasks as needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards.
- Provide compassionate, professional patient interaction in all settings.
- Float between locations based on departmental needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of experience as an Endoscopy Technician required.
- Medical Assistant experience required.
- BLS Certification required
- Phlebotomy competency required.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique, infection control, and endoscopy workflow.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
