Job Description:
We're looking for a Fibroscan trained Medical Assistant or Ultrasound Tech with experience for FibroScan testing. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting FibroScan liver assessments and will assist in supporting daily clinical operations. You’ll work closely with our providers to ensure efficient, accurate, and compassionate care delivery.
The Full Time position is for the Goshen, NY location
The Part Time position is for the New Windsor, NY location
Responsibilites:
- Perform FibroScan (transient elastography) procedures accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients about the FibroScan process and answer questions as needed
- Record and report test results in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and clinical documentation if MA
- Ensure proper cleaning and calibration of equipment
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards
- Support general clinical and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant certification (preferred) OR Ultrasound license/certification – Required
- Previous experience performing FibroScan procedures for a minimum of 6 months – Required
- Team spirited, flexible, and most importantly experience with Fibroscan.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
