Assistant Teacher/Aide

Horizon Education Centers Berea location is seeking a caring and dependable Teacher to support our Infant and School Ahe program. In this role, you'll help create a safe, engaging learning environment while working alongside experienced educators to support children's growth and development. 

Positions available:

School Age Teacher Assistant: Hours are a split shift ($1.00 per hour incentive for split) 7am-9:30am and 1pm-5:30/6pm

Infant Teacher Assistant: hours are 8am until 4:30pm M-F

Classroom Aide Infant Room: hours will vary (average 5 to 6 hours a day)

Classroom Aide Float: for all rooms (Infant/Toddler, Preschool) hours will be 2pm to 6pm or 3pm to 6pm

Pay: $13.75-$15.50/hr

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with daily activities and lesson plans 

• Supervise and engage children in a safe, positive environment 

• Support classroom management and meal service 

• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff 

• Maintain records and classroom organization  

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Childcare experience required 

• Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented 

• Genuine passion for working with children 

• Ability to pass background checks and lift up to 40 lbs.
