Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as an HR Generalist located in Madison, WI. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. Additional duties include implementing HR best practices, developing policies, and supporting employee engagement and retention initiatives. The role requires frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams to align HR strategies with business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- Proficiency in employee benefits administration, HR compliance, and labor law regulations
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Proficiency with HR software and tools; familiarity with ATS and payroll systems
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus)
- Prior experience in property management, construction, or related industries is advantageous
