Duties

- Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline, promote positive behavior, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Assess individual student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing tailored support for children with special needs or disabilities.
- Integrate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and library services into daily lessons to support holistic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in special education to design personalized learning plans and provide academic advising when needed.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, communicate with families, and document instructional activities.
- Support early childhood development by incorporating Montessori or other child-centered pedagogies suitable for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood education trends, behavior management techniques, and working with children of diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool settings; private school experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, literacy education, and math instruction.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs; familiarity with inclusive teaching strategies is desirable.
- Skilled in classroom management, conflict resolution, behavior management, and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons using instructional design tools and learning technology platforms such as LMS.
- Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field; Montessori or preschool certification preferred.
