Position Overview
As a Behavior Therapist, you will work directly with young children in a center-based setting, helping them build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills. You will receive support, training, and ongoing guidance from supervisors and clinical leadership.
This role is active, hands-on, and requires someone who can bring consistency, great energy, and professionalism to work each day.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with children in a one-on-one setting
- Help children learn and build important life skills
- Support play, communication, and behavior goals
- Follow treatment plans and coaching from supervisors
- Create a safe, fun, and structured environment
- Complete session notes and documentation accurately
- Collaborate with a team focused on child progress and quality care
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is strongly preferred
- Experience in ABA is helpful, but not required
- Childcare, daycare, preschool, school, nannying, camp, or similar experience is highly valued
- Strong communication and professionalism required
- Must be dependable, coachable, and consistent
- Must be comfortable being active and engaged throughout the workday
Compensation
Pay for this role ranges from $17.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and the level you qualify for.
Compensation is based on factors such as:
- Education
- Relevant work experience
- Years of experience
- Training or certifications
- Overall qualifications for the role
Candidates may be hired at one of the following levels:
- Level 1
- Level 2
- Level 3
