Position Summary:
Compensation is dependent on experience
The Project Coordinator oversees day-to-day implementation of the Appomattox SUD grant, coordinating staff, partners, and referral pipelines to achieve enrollment and outcome targets. Responsibilities include managing the grant budget, monitoring service and population outcomes, driving continuous quality improvement, and representing the program with community stakeholders and funders.
The Project Coordinator also directs data collection and reporting, audits records for compliance, and facilitates regular team problem-solving to ensure services remain on track. Additional duties include leading community marketing efforts and serving as a liaison with courts and advisory partners.
This is a part-time position (22 hours per week) based in Appomattox County.
Required Education and Experience:
One year of grant or project management experience; supervisory experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Knowledge of substance use disorders and co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
- Knowledge of community mental health and substance use disorders treatment resources and treatment practices.
- Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of grant project planning and monitoring techniques, grant performance evaluation, data compilation and reporting, and budget
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report data, including the ability to identify and measure outcomes, and develop reports.
- Understanding of GPRA data collection protocols.
- Ability to facilitate groups to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create presentations and above-average presentation skills.
- Ability to work and contribute within a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to participate in and successfully pass behavioral intervention training, which includes both verbal de-escalation skills and physical skills techniques to be utilized with consumers as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel to locations within the assigned geographical area to attend meetings and perform assigned duties.
