Job Scope
· Prepare, review, and process customer invoices with high accuracy.
· Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with Operations as needed.
· Support and guide Billing Analysts when required.
· Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements.
· Participate in testing and rollout of billing automation tools.
· Issue and meticulously review invoices, ensuring alignment with client contracts and internal policies.
· Investigate, document, and efficiently resolve complex billing discrepancies and payment disputes.
· Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline existing billing processes for greater organizational efficiency.
· Partner effectively with internal departments (Operations, Sales, Accounting) to ensure documentation and billing accuracy.
What We're Looking For
· Experience: 3-5 years of billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience (freight forwarding/logistics background is a plus but not required).
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and new software tools is a bonus.
· Core Skills: Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to adapt to change with a sense of urgency.
· Communication: Excellent professional communication and organizational skills.
