Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Knowledge of Gas and Liquid state Fluid Control and Metrology used in the manufacture of Semiconductors.
- Knowledge of Original Equipment Manufacturers and the usage of flow control and metrology products within Front and Backend Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment products.
- Understanding of basic semiconductor process components primarily related to Temperature, Flow and Vacuum.
- Process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
- Improving manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
- Preparing and presenting plans for the above and coordinating deployment including training of team members.
- Assisting production manager in improving the system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and training.
- General knowledge of ISO and utilization of ISO related standards.
- General knowledge of primary engineering design controls used when transferring products from engineering to production.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical preferred) with 2 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills. Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office programs.
