Hord Farms is a diversified farming operation in North-Central Ohio currently farming 8,685 acres of corn, beans, wheat, and barley, in addition to raising pigs and cattle. Our Hord Elevator division is seeking to add a full-time feed mill operator to our afternoon-shift team.

Hord Farms is a diversified farming operation in North-Central Ohio currently farming 8,685 acres of corn, beans, wheat, and barley, in addition to raising pigs and cattle. Our Hord Elevator division is seeking to add a full-time feed mill operator to our afternoon-shift team.
A Day In the Life:
- Operate corn roller mills, ensuring the proper setting and testing for accuracy
- Oversee the computer operation of the feed mill on the afternoon shift, following all procedures to properly sequence orders to be mixed
- Keep ingredients available for feed production, including restocking of bagged and toted products
- Unload bulk ingredients through our elevator dump system
- Load tractor/trailers for delivery
- Assist with preventative maintenance on all equipment per provided schedules
- Assist in housekeeping duties to ensure the mill remains clean
- Ambition and the drive for excellence
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience driving pickup trucks, forklifts, tractors, and other basic machinery
- Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
- Basic knowledge of Excel and e-mail
- Self-motivation and ability to remain productive when unsupervised
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 55 lbs. and climb in excess of 150 ft. and work in all types of weather
- No daily exposure to non-Hord pigs

Salary : $35
