Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality pizzas and food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cashiering duties
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food preparation tasks including ingredient assembly, baking, and packaging with attention to quality and safety
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting overall restaurant operations during busy periods
- Manage cash handling accurately while processing transactions swiftly and efficiently
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a lively café or restaurant atmosphere
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail store environments is advantageous
