Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining or nightlife experience. Prior experience with POS systems is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and beverage standards.
Duties
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as per guest requests
- Adhering to responsible alcohol service policies - Tips or Team certified
- Have a basic knowledge of craft beer and alcohol
- Manage cash handling, billing, and processing payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with setup and breakdown of daily service or private parties
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly
- Restock supplies and ensure the bar and service area is organized throughout shifts
- Uphold all health regulations related to food handling, food safety, and responsible alcohol service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in service industry or food service environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality settings is a plus
- Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transactions
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
