Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to support kitchen operations
• Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients responsibly to maintain hygiene standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health regulations
• Support catering events or special functions by preparing dishes according to specifications
• Demonstrate excellent food handling techniques and knife skills while preparing ingredients

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, especially in fine dining environments
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
• Ability to plan menus and execute meal preparation efficiently
• Skilled in food industry techniques including knife skills, plating, and portion control
• Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
• Previous kitchen experience in the food service or catering sectors is highly desirable
