We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs with precision.
- Diagnose complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body damage, or auto estimating as needed.
- Follow dealership or industry standards for auto repair procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair.
- Dealership experience or familiarity with GM vehicles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, diesel engine repair, transmission repair, and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service technology.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid technician certification or relevant ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
