Job description:
Hopkinsville Pharmacy is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic pharmacy technician. Hopkinsville Pharmacy is locally owned independent pharmacy. We believe in providing fast and affordable prescription services. An associate will be responsible for all pharmacy technician duties allowed by KY state board of pharmacy along with helping pharmacist to maintain workflow.
- Job Types: Full-time or Part-time (retail pharmacy experiance requried)
- Only candidates with at least 6 months of retail pharmacy experiance would qualify for this job.
Responsibilities:
- To maintain proper workflow in prescription dispensing process
- Inventory management
- Assist pharmacist in daily activities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Help other staff member to keep workplace clean and organized
Experience:
- Recent retail pharmacy technician work experience (at least 6 month)
Education:
- High School/ GED
- Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB (Preferred, Not required)
Skills:
- Great communication skill
- Multitasking
- Computer Skill
Other requirements:
- Must be able to work swing shifts, including Saturdays.
- Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs weight if required
- Must have good standing attendance record at previous jobs
- Employment is subject to extensive background check and Drug screening
