Position Summary:
The Activity / Recreation Aide assists the Activity Director in planning and implementing programs that promote physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being for our residents. This role is perfect for someone energetic, creative, and compassionate—someone who loves to make people smile.

Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and leading individual and group activities.
Encourage resident participation and engagement.
Help decorate and prepare for events, celebrations, and seasonal programs.
Document resident attendance and participation.
Escort and assist residents to and from activities as needed.
Support the Activity Director with planning, setup, and cleanup of events.
Contribute ideas for enhancing the recreation program.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in long-term care or working with older adults preferred, but not required.
Friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic personality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to push wheelchairs and assist residents as needed.
