Wide Format Production Helper- 1st shift

Position SummaryThe Wide Format Production Helper supports the Digital Printing team in producing, finishing, packaging, and preparing wide format print jobs for delivery. This position helps keep work moving through the department while maintaining quality, organization, and safe work practices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading materials for wide format printers and finishing equipment.
• Prepare substrates, supplies, and job materials according to work orders and supervisor instructions.
• Help trim, laminate, mount, assemble, and package printed products.
• Inspect completed work for visible defects, correct quantities, and job specifications; report concerns promptly.
• Label and organize jobs so materials and finished products can be identified and tracked.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Communicate job status, material shortages, equipment issues, and potential delays to the supervisor.
• Follow production schedules, quality procedures, and all applicable safety practices.
• Assist with other digital printing and production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of experience in printing, manufacturing, warehouse, or production work preferred. Wide format printing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read work orders, follow instructions, and check work for accuracy.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work cooperatively in a production environment.
• Willingness to learn printing materials, equipment, and finishing processes.

Physical RequirementsThis position involves standing and walking for much of the shift, handling print materials, and performing repetitive production tasks. The employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs pounds, with assistance or equipment when appropriate. Specific physical requirements should be reviewed against the equipment and materials used in the department.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
