Job Summary
The Environmental Services Technician supports a safe, clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment across HopeWest facilities through daily cleaning, disinfection, floor care, and environmental maintenance activities. This role contributes to the comfort and safety of patients, visitors, staff, and community members by maintaining cleanliness standards and following infection prevention, safety, and customer service expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
Medium work:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use the hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:One (1) year of related environmental services, housekeeping, custodial, or healthcare cleaning experience.Previous healthcare environmental services experience.
- Ability to operate manual and powered cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of cleaning practices, sanitation procedures, and infection prevention principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and assigned cleaning schedules.
- Effective verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and positive working relationships.
- Demonstrates commitment to workplace safety and organizational standards.

- Starting hourly pay: $17.63-19.50 (plus $3/hr weekend differential when applicable)
