Pay Range: $19.88-$22.00 (Non-Exempt/Hourly)
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support for the Adult Bereavement job function to promote efficient program operations and a welcoming, responsive experience for clients, families, volunteers, and community members. This position often serves as a first point of contact for individuals seeking grief support services and requires strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
The Administrative Assistant works collaboratively with Bereavement leadership, counselors, volunteers, regional team members, and other HopeWest departments to coordinate program activities, maintain accurate records and reporting, support scheduling and communication, and ensure the day-to-day administrative needs of the department are met.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, human services, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative experience required. Administrative experience in a healthcare, human services, or related environment preferred. Experience working with electronic records systems and medical terminology preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid Colorado driver’s license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance maintained throughout employment.
