Job Responsibilities:
- Schedules and staffs client shifts by communicating with clients and caregivers to ensure coverage is provided when needed
- Uses scheduling software daily to schedule client shifts
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date data and documentation
- Answers phone calls with courtesy and professionalism
- Utilizes superb written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, caregivers, and office staff
- Collaborates with other team members to ensure client satisfaction and smooth workflow
- Provides administrative assistance when needed, such as filing and scanning
- On-call some nights, weekends, and holidays
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 – 4 years of administrative office experience (bachelor’s degree accepted in lieu of experience)
- Proficiency in basic computer operations, and ability to learn scheduling software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication skills and professionalism
- Impeccable attention to detail and organization
- Forward-thinker who isn’t afraid to bring new ideas to the table!
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, human resources, communications, or related field strongly preferred (degree accepted in lieu of experience)
- Previous medical or health care experience preferred
