Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Medical Assistant at our Morganton, NC, location. The Certified Medical Assistant will assist healthcare providers with patient care, including preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, updating medical records, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the medical office. Additional responsibilities include administering medications, maintaining medical supplies, and providing administrative support as needed to ensure optimal workflow and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including administering medications, performing basic clinical tasks, and assisting healthcare providers during examinations.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in working within a Medical Office, managing scheduling, and handling administrative tasks.
- Strong skills in Patient Care, including providing compassionate and efficient service in a clinical setting.
- Expertise in maintaining and managing accurate Medical Records.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program is required.
- Experience in primary care or family medicine is a plus.
