This position starts at $31 with the potential to increase over time based on expanded job responsibilities and established experience.
Responsibilities
- Review payment transactions to ensure proper coding, description, and documentation
- Research, resolve, and communicate discrepancies and outstanding balances on vendor accounts to AP Manager
- Oversees admin and operations accounts payable functions
- Ensures all transactions align with GAAP
- Ensures all invoices are properly coded and include supporting documents in compliance with agency and contract policy
- Ensures all expenses are paid in a timely manner
- Reconciles all vendor accounts monthly
- Ensures clear and timely communication and coordination of PO corrections
- Maintains PO resource guides and updates
- Supports in designing effective budget models for departments and analyzing financial information to ensure all operations are within the budget
- Prepare financial documents such as Contract Status Reports and financial forecasts
- Assist in the oversight of the Affordable Housing Properties’ finances and prepare a summary report for review.
- Updates program budgets.
- Maintain Chart of Accounts
- Maintain monthly/quarterly/yearly cost allocations
- Assist programs with the fiscal report
- Attends staff meetings and training as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BA in Accounting or Business required
- Two years’ experience in accounting functions.
- Two years' experience working in an office/administrative environment.
- Proven ability to prepare reports and handle extensive written communications.
- Proven ability to use computers, spreadsheets, and administrative programs.
- Accurate and organized.
