After School Direct Support Professional - Part Time & PRN Hours Available

• $250 Performance Bonus (90 days after first visit - terms apply)

• Assignments available in Burlington, Mercer, Union and surrounding counties (this is not a group home setting)

Hopes Promise Respite is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support participants after school program at their homes and activities in the community. The right candidates will be ready to bring their skills where they're needed to support children with developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you’ll make a meaningful difference every day—helping individuals live more independently, engage in their communities, and achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities:

• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and team members
• Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in every interaction
• Plan and implement activities at home and at community locations
• Be available to help students with homework
• Maintain the safety and well being of those you're supporting
• Maintain accurate records
• Maintain compliance with all service standards

Qualifications:

• Available after 3pm two or three times per week to provide services in an individual's home
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to empowering others
• Experience with youth with individual/developmental disabilities and behaviors
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
