What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Teacher position at Hopes & Dreams Preschool and Daycare?

For this position, we are looking for the following qualities:
- Full time position M-F with availability between 8:30AM- 5:00PM
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- It is not required, but a college degree or Preschool CDA is preferred
- Must be able to pass BCI and FBI background check
- Must be willing to take CPR and First Aid within 90 days of start date
- Reliable and responsible
- Patience and compassion
- Energetic and has a love for children
- Works well with others, teamwork
- Willing to take professional development classes
- Willing to do projects, art, songs, and engage with children
- Create weekly lesson plans
- Implement behavior management techniques
- Assist children with daily needs (diaper changes, feeding, etc.)
- Basic daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning
- Is able to actively supervise all ages of children and lift 40 lbs
- Willing to learn and follow ODJFS and SUTQ rules and regulations
