Hopedale Public Schools is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT)

Hopedale Public Schools is seeking a qualified, collaborative, and student-centered Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time district-wide position provides occupational therapy services and support to students across grade levels in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Section 504 plans, and Massachusetts special education regulations.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators, related service providers, administrators, and families to support students’ access to educational programming and promote student independence and participation within the school environment.
Responsibilities
•Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
•Develop written evaluation reports with educationally relevant recommendations
•Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
•Participate in Team meetings, annual reviews, and eligibility determinations
•Collaborate with teachers, support staff, families, and outside providers
•Support classroom staff with strategies, accommodations, adaptive equipment, and sensory supports
•Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, service logs, and Medicaid billing as required
•Assist with implementation of student programs and interventions across educational settings
•Support compliance with state and federal special education regulations
•Participate in professional development and district initiatives as appropriate
Qualifications
•Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
•Current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist
•Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certification/license as applicable
•Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills
•Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
This is a full-time, school year position with an hourly rate of $50.
