What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Manager position at Hope Wisco?
The Communications Manager is responsible for executing communications strategies on behalf of Hope Church. This role will work closely with the Communications Director to implement tactics across print and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with the church’s mission, vision, and goals. This role is full-time and reports to the Communications Director.
Responsibilities
Creative Content Development
· Work with graphic designers to ideate, develop, and finalize materials needed for Sunday services and ministry-specific needs. This includes, but is not limited to, series creative, Sunday service programming needs, ministry logos and graphics, and event material development.
· Extend and apply series graphic treatments across all channels to maximize impact, cohesion and return on message development.
· Consistently ensure all communications carry Hope’s brand voice and reinforce the mission, values, and brand.
· Work with vendors and contractors to create and produce materials needed for Hope Church.
Digital Channel Ownership
· Responsible for Hope Church’s digital communications tools, including website, email, social platforms, online engagement tools, and future digital initiatives.
· Track metrics across all digital platforms, establishing clear metrics, goals, and outcomes.
Project Management
· Work directly with contract designers, videographers, and photographers to develop materials needed for Hope Church.
· Build and refine production timetables to deliver finished goods synchronized with series and event dates.
· Set deadlines, check progress, and ensure deadlines are met across all communications initiatives.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or similar field.
- 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience managing and leading a team is ideal.
- Experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Detailed knowledge, agreement, and adherence to the Hope Church mission, vision, and values.
