SUMMARY
Acting in a strategic and visionary capacity, the Vice President of Programs will provide programmatic leadership and governance to Hope Walks' national clubfoot programs globally to achieve organizational objectives. This position will manage, support and empower regional and national leadership to develop capacity and ensure quality medical and spiritual outcomes. The Vice President of Programs will report directly to the President while leading the Global Programs Leadership Team.

Hybrid; must be able to work from the Hope Walks' office in York Springs, PA 2-3 times per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Develop and support the programmatic vision, plan, and strategic goals, fostering a culture of Christ-centered leadership, innovation, and accountability that reflects Hope Walks' mission, vision and values.
- Serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to organizational strategy, policy decisions, and overall mission advancement while providing programmatic updates and strategic insights to the Board of Directors to highlight impact, trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Lead the Hope Walks Programs team, identifying and developing leaders within the programs.
- Provide experienced insight into Hope Walks' organizational structure and program design to help Hope Walks achieve its mission and vision.
- Guide and actively collaborate with the Director of Spiritual Integration & Discipleship to ensure quality, effective spiritual ministry in every program aligns with Hope Walks' mission and goals.
- Guide and support the Director of Clinical & Program Quality in implementing evidence-based models of clubfoot treatment and practice guidelines that address barriers to implementation in low- and middle-income countries.
- Guide and support Regional Managers in their roles of leading and managing the Program Managers. Ensure that Regional Managers are focused primarily on the achievement of country programs goals, KPIs, and strategic plan objectives.
- Implement a process for each country program to develop a unique strategy (both annual and long-term) that addresses its own challenges and barriers while remaining aligned with Hope Walks' overall mission, vision, and strategy.
- Lead the exploration and expansion of international partnerships to advocate for and capitalize on potential programmatic and funding opportunities toward program sustainability.
- Lead organizational change initiatives and capacity-building efforts that strengthen systems, processes, and leadership development across global teams.
- Support and enable the development of an innovation management framework and process within the Hope Walks program.
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across all programs, ensuring a comprehensive and robust system for monitoring, evaluation and evidence-based implementation of learnings to achieve quality outcomes, both spiritually and medically.
- Develop and implement new program initiatives in cooperation with the Global Program Leadership Team and provide direct oversight of larger or more complex programs and start-ups to achieve strategic and operational goals of the organization.
- Provide oversight and coordination of the annual budget process, implement sound financial management practices, and ensure appropriate utilization of resources and accountability in accordance with the approved fiscal-year budget.
- Support and lead programs in compliance with all in-country laws, government and organizational policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in national and international forums, building relationships and partnerships to elevate Hope Walks' profile as a leader in clubfoot care, spiritual ministry and global child health.
- Collaborate with the Hope Walks grants, development and communication staff to ensure that expected outcomes are achieved and resources needed for programmatic support and reporting are received in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree (Master's degree preferred) in a relevant area, such as International Development, Public Health, Health Administration, International Relations or International Business.
- Minimum ten (10) years international leadership experience, preferably with one or more NGOs.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, and at least one relevant foreign language preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in culturally, politically and economically diverse contexts.
- Personal faith in Christ and commitment to the mission of Hope Walks.
- Demonstrated ability to form high-functioning teams and partnerships, including excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of common technology: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Zoom
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally 20-30% of the time.
