What You’ll Do
As an Optometric Technician, you’ll play a key role in both patient care and office flow. Responsibilities include:
- Pre-testing patients (auto-refraction, visual fields, OCT, etc.)
- Taking medical history and documenting in EMR
- Assisting the doctor during exams
- Explaining procedures and treatments to patients
- Supporting vision therapy and specialty testing (training provided!)
- Helping keep the schedule running smoothly

Ideal candidates are:
- Friendly, outgoing, and patient-focused
- Strong communicators with great people skills
- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable with technology and learning new systems
- Interested in healthcare and helping others
Bonus (not required):
- Previous experience in optometry or medical office
- Knowledge of insurance or billing
- Experience with vision therapy or specialty care

Schedule
- Full-time (approx. 35–40 hours/week)
- Monday–Friday (with occasional flexibility)
