Overview
We are seeking loving and energetic people to join our mission to build a passion for learning in an early childhood education setting for the 2026/2027 school year. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, and sensory activities aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or other early childhood frameworks
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior, implementing behavior management strategies, and maintaining a safe, organized learning environment
- Engage children in activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and early literacy and numeracy skills
- Help with daily routines including snack time, bathroom breaks, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure smooth transitions and comfort for all children
- Work closely with children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges, providing tailored support to foster inclusion
- Assist in classroom setup, material preparation, and cleanup to ensure an inviting learning space that stimulates curiosity and exploration
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in preschool settings or daycare environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development milestones, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management strategies, and working with children with autism or disabilities is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with parents
- Demonstrate patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children of diverse backgrounds including toddlers and preschoolers
- Certification in childcare or early childhood education is desirable but not mandatory.
