Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our HVAC service operations. Duties
- Lead and coordinate HVAC service technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of service calls and projects
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration units
- Review schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical drawings to guide field operations
- Manage inventory of equipment, parts, and tools necessary for service tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment
- Train and mentor technicians on new technologies, technical procedures, and industry best practices
- Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, repairs, and project progress
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, or property maintenance
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including boilers, air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration systems, and appliance repair
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and troubleshooting techniques
- Field service experience with proficiency in equipment repair using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by welding skills and experience with boiler systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (including
driver requirements) - Prior leadership or supervisory experience in construction or HVAC service environments is highly desirable
