Box Truck Driver / Delivery Team Member
Hope Kitchen Cabinets & Stone Supply is hiring a reliable, hardworking Box Truck Driver / Delivery Team Member to join our team.
We are a busy kitchen cabinet and countertop company serving customers throughout Connecticut, New York, and the surrounding area. This position involves driving our company box trucks and safely delivering kitchen cabinets and related materials to homes, job sites, and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Drive company box trucks for scheduled deliveries
- Load and unload kitchen cabinets, countertops, and related materials
- Hand-carry cabinetry into homes, garages, buildings, and job sites when required
- Verify orders and quantities before leaving the warehouse
- Protect products from damage during loading, transportation, and delivery
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and properly maintained
- Perform basic pre-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Communicate with the warehouse and office regarding delivery status or job-site issues
- Take delivery photos and obtain signatures when required
- Work safely and professionally around customers, contractors, and other team members
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean/reasonable driving record
- Experience driving a box truck preferred
- Comfortable driving throughout CT, NY, and surrounding areas
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry 50–75 lbs
- Comfortable with physical work, stairs, and active job sites
- Reliable and punctual — our customers schedule around their deliveries
- Able to follow delivery paperwork and instructions carefully
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
- Cabinet, furniture, appliance, moving, building-material, or similar delivery experience is a plus
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person
