Hope House Thrift Shop, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the work at the Hope House Women's Clinic and Parenting Center in Moultrie, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated team members to contribute to the daily operations of our store. As a team member, you will help create a welcoming environment for customers, assist with merchandise, and provide excellent customer service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the daily operations of the thrift shop, including cashier duties, customer interactions, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Stock merchandise and ensure displays are organized and appealing
- Help manage donation intake and sorting of items
- Your role is not just about individual tasks but about being part of a supportive team. You will provide support to staff and volunteers as needed, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and customer experience
- Maintain awareness of pricing strategies and assist with executing pricing as directed
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with social media platforms
