Duties
- Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement engaging activities that support childhood development milestones and enhance social skills
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom or daycare environment following health and safety regulations
- Use behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on children’s progress and needs
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care in line with individual plans
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages is essential
- Experience with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in childcare best practices is encouraged
- Demonstrated ability to nurture, motivate, and build trusting relationships with children and families
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and parents
