Clinical Positions
Hope Health Systems provides preventative and mental health services to children, adolescents and adults in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. We are currently recruiting clinical staff including psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical supervisors, registered nurses and psychiatric nurse practitioners and licensed therapists (LGSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LCSW-C, LCMFT and LCPC) for part-time and full time positions.
Board Certified Psychiatrists
Hope Health Systems provides preventative and mental health services to children and adolescents in the Baltimore County and City Elementary and Middle Schools and including Baltimore City Head Starts (Serving children 3-5 years of age). We are currently recruiting a full time Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to Provide medical/psychiatric care and treatment to outpatient clients; prescribe medications; and direct psychiatric treatment; as well as provide family support and community outreach services in the Expanded School Based Division.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Diagnosis and clinical treatment of clients.
Special Qualifications: Possession of a license to practice Medicine in the State of Maryland or the ability to obtain the license prior to appointment, plus a minimum of 3 years in an approved residency in Psychiatry.
General Clinical Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be an innovative and energetic board certified psychiatrist. Responsibilities and Duties will include, but not limited to psychiatric screening/evaluation, psychiatric medication management, counseling/education and coordination of client's overall mental health care, coordination of medical care with the patients' Primary Care Provider, referral of patients, operation of quality assurance and utilization programs including peer reviews, open and close medical record reviews and utilization reviews; completes required performance measures. Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Skills Required: Candidates must be U.S. citizens and be proficient in spoken and written English. Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist and must possess/maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Maryland.
You will need to successfully complete a background security investigation before you can be appointed into this position.
Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience.
