Clinical Positions
Hope Health Systems provides preventative and mental health services to children, adolescents and adults in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. We are currently recruiting clinical staff including psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical supervisors, registered nurses and psychiatric nurse practitioners and licensed therapists (LGSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LCSW-C, LCMFT and LCPC) for part-time and full time positions.
Addictions Counselors/Therapists
Hope Health Systems provides mental health and substance abuse services to detained youth at Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center (BCJJC). We are currently recruiting licensed therapists (LGSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, and LCPC) to provide individual and group therapy, as well as family support and community outreach services for a caseload of males aged 12 – 21. General clinical job description:
- Complete Bio-psychosocial Assessments on youth
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for all detainees
- Provide individual and group counseling to caseload of youth
- Respond to emergency on-site and after hour calls
- Assess youth level of safety while on suicide watch
- Process with youth while in seclusion
- Contact parents/caregivers and other essential individuals on a monthly basis for status updates and support
- Participate in monthly Treatment Service Plan meetings for all youth on caseload
- Complete documentation within 24 hours of service delivery
- Work on an interdisciplinary team
- Advocate client needs
- Participate in court proceedings for identified youth
- Attend all scheduled meetings, trainings, and chart audits with Hope Health Systems, Inc., as well as with DJS
- Provide in-service trainings to colleagues of other disciplines
Bachelors or Masters degree required. Must be CAC, CSC-AD, LGADC or LCADC. Minimum of 2 years experience providing assessment, group, family and individual counseling to adolescent and adults. Familiarity with concurrent disorders, psychotropic meds, and juvenile delinquency a plus.
