We are currently searching for a Hospice Aide to join our team.
The Primary Functions Of This Role Include
- Visit patient homes and nursing facilities in Garland and surrounding areas.
- To provide compassionate and professional personal care to include activities of daily living: feeding, bathing, dressing, and assisting with ambulation.
- Assist patients with light household chores and light meal prep.
- Understand the hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be an excellent communicator.
- Possess the desire and skill set necessary to work with patients at the end of life.
- Demonstrate Hope Health Care's agency values - compassion, dignity, integrity, professionalism, balance, and growth.
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current certification in Texas.
- At least two years of experience in a hospice setting is preferred.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, and be able to follow clinical directions.
