Hope Haven CAC provides a child-focused, trauma-informed, multidisciplinary response to child abuse allegations and works collaboratively with law enforcement, child protective services, medical professionals, victim advocates, and prosecutors to ensure comprehensive care for child abuse victims and their families.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct patient care, clinical assessments, and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, developmentally appropriate mental health screenings and assessments for children/families referred by CAC staff or the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (e.g., TF-CBT, PCIT, EMDR, CPP, PSB-CBT).
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during emergencies or acute episodes.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver direct clinical services for trauma-related symptoms and behavioral health needs.
• Monitor clinical progress and adjust interventions as needed, documenting outcomes in client records.
• Collaborate with caregivers to build understanding of trauma, attachment, emotional regulation, coping skills, and secondary trauma effects.
• Refer to linkage community partners when specialized care beyond CAC capacity is needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and document all patient interactions with precision using medical terminology and CPT coding standards.
• Engage data collection efforts to support ongoing program development and quality improvement.

Skills

• Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related clinical mental health field
• Must be licensed to practice independently (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMHC, PhD/PsyD).
• Willing to complete 40 contact hours of foundational trauma-focused, evidence-based treatment training appropriate for children who have experienced abuse.
• Demonstrated competence in trauma-informed assessment and delivery of trauma-focused evidence-based interventions.
• Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, medical documentation standards, and medical terminology related to behavioral health.
• Ability to provide culturally sensitive care across diverse populations while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
